Pregnancy
Often the best time for a new baby to receive chiropractic
care is when mom is pregnant. If mom is properly aligned and healthy the
baby will benefit as well. Most pregnancy comes with some back, neck and
leg pain that can be helped with conservative chiropractic care. Sciatica
which is pain down the leg arising from an irritated nerve will usually
respond best to chiropractic care when compared to drugs and surgery.
Why take a chance during pregnancy when chiropractic provides a safe and
effective alternative for the pregnant patient.
Infants and Babies
Babies often need chiropractic care after the often traumatic birth process.
Many infants have the neck turned and then pulled out of alignment while
trying to assist them out during delivery. Wouldn’t it be nice to
know your baby is in alignment. Often the correctionis quick and easy
and positive changes are often immediate after an adjustmen.
Kids
Kids do fall and kids do hurt themselves often when learning new sports,
and just being kids.
This is why kids need chiropractic care too. Often improved reaction time,
flexibility, strength, and coordination are experienced by kids who get
regular chiropractic care. It is critical to detect and correct early
posture problems at this stage to help prevent and treat scoliosis and
more permanent compensation patterns.
Adults
Adults now days are under tremendous stress and tension due to families,
jobs, relationships and time constraints.
If problems are not corrected at this stage other conditions may appear
including arthritis, fibromyalgia, fatigue, chronic headaches, back spasms
or stiffness. Chiropractic care at this stage can greatly improve the
quality of life and allow you the pain free ability to do more of what
you love to do. Anyone who wants to live an active lifestyle should be
working to maintain and prevent problems at this stage and that is why
the majority of patients who receive chiropractic care are adults.
Elderly Care
Too old to get chiropractic care? I don’t think so as most patients
who are elderly have stiff painful joints, back pain, neck pain and headaches
respond well to chiropractic relief care. Special care is taken and the
adjustments are safe and gentle to avoid aggrevating the condition. Massage
techniques and stretching exercises are often helpful to get the body
moving better and helping you feel younger. Chiropractic can even help
manage arthritis pain and help you feel good again.
